We started our Balance and Motion Unit in Science today. Students are balancing cardboard crayfish on their finger. They tried balancing the crayfish from different points. Carter wrote: I tried it on the front but it didn't work. If you want to hold it on the back, most likely you have to use clothespins to do it.
Cody wrote: At first it was harder to balance the crayfish.
But when we had counterweight it was a lot better.
Brady used counterweight to balance his crayfish between the claws.
Gracie discovered how to balance the crayfish by the tail with counterweight.
